It is shipped with every Cassandra package, and can be found in the bin/ directory alongside the cassandra executable. cqlsh utilizes the Python native protocol driver, and connects to the single node specified on the command line.
2- Nodetool
The nodetool utility (nodeprobe in versions prior to 0.6) provides a simple command line interface to these exposed operations and attributes.
